Last weekend when we still had ice on Svislach river in centre of Minsk we have seen 2 Gulls similar to Heuglini's. They were in flock with argentaus/cachinans and L. f. fuscus. About 3 years ago I saw and photographed similar Gulls at spring at the same place. On recent photo you can easy see diffrence between it and fuscus with argentatus. Please advice us on species.

A strange gull was observed and photographed on reservoir in Minsk 29/07/2013 Size like the mallard. Is it 2 CY LAR ICH or something more common dirty with oil? What do you think?

Dear friends, please help to identify a Gull resembling Slender-billed Gull (Larus genei). Today 01/12/2013 only one Gull was observed on reservoir near Hrodna close to Poland. T 0+2C, strong Western wind.

Some odd gulls from the centre of Minsk. Unfortunately now ice on Svislach River melted comletely but on X-mas 25/12/2013 some gulls were quite close to a bank. Pitures were taken using digiscoping so excuse me for quality. At winter spots on head of birds can serve as additional characteristic. Some birds are probably hybrids. Please advice on what you see more than me.
