wolfgang regularly reads rings and take pics at his local patch near WÖRTH on the danube. his posts are found at the austrian forum bird.at ( http://www.forumromanum.de/member/forum ... threadid=2 ).

lately, on 14. and 15.11. there where present 4 ind. 1cy LBBG, one ringed in north norway (intermedius) and one of 3(?) baltic gulls ringed in finland. in the text he mentions the obvious differences between the two taxa, quite obvious in these birds:
