Hi All,

Any opinions what this could be besides most likely having cachinnans genes?

Regards,

Gabor

Hi Gabor,
Always tricky how a pale iris can change your perception of a taxon, at least that's what I experience. Nonetheless, taking this in consideration, cachinnans is not the first option that arises to me; rather dark grey new feathers it seems and some vermiculation on these inner primaries (would prefer to see them plain grey with blackish shaft). But I may be well wrong and should consider this to be possible within the variation....

Hi Mars,

What species came in your mind in the first place? Do you suggest YLG with dark grey feathers?
Can P10 mirror occur in this species?

Cheers,

Gabor

Hi Gabor,
No, herring gull argentatus would have been my first guess...
