Today with Albert e saw a filled Barneveld.
Around 450 Herrings with many yellow-legged types as well as many argentatus argentatus.
Other gulls included 15 micha, 13 cach, 5 fuscus and 500 ridibundus.

Rings were all around but due to high activity, many rings read only half.
Still Finland, Germany, Denmark, Holland and Belgium are present at least.

A 3cy/ 2nd winter gull, probably testing my wanna-be birds, gave a strange feeling.
Its far to dark upperparts for Herring (although there are some dark herrings on the forum lately) not showing in the picture.
In flight it showed a black-white tail and very plain, greyish inner primaries.
Also note the shaft-streaked fresh tertials and lower scaps.
