Well done, excellent! Yellowish orbital ring and restricted white in tip of P9-P10, together with greyish-yellow legs nicely fit this species.
There must be another incredible record from somewhere near Paris, France, but I don't know of images on the web.

The record from the North of Portugal its amazing!!! And since that record came out another observer shared a few photos of another bird seen at Peniche 2 weeks ago, resembling at least the odd big gulls from Khenifiss. The wide trailing edge on secondaries is massive, legs seem to have the green tinge, and possibly only one mirror on P10.

Here are, with the permission of the photographer, Frédéric Jiguet, the pictures, taken in Paris in January 1995 and published inmarsmuusse wrote:There must be another incredible record from somewhere near Paris, France, but I don't know of images on the web.
JIGUET Fr., DEFOS DU RAU P., REEBER S., 2004.
A Cape Gull in Paris - a new European bird.
Birding World, 17 (2) : 62-70.
(Probably a female, according to its size compared to the captive Yellow-legged Gull L. michahellis.)

Re: Cape gull ???
This week another Kelp/Cape Gull have been spotted at Faro, Portugal.
P10 seems to be in pretty good shape for a WP August bird....and inner primaries dropped
